Mohammed urged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to contribute significantly towards the attainment of his vision for Bauchi State.
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has reassigned three of the five commissioners he sacked earlier to special adviser roles.
According to Mohammed’s Special Adviser on media, Mukhtar Gidado, the governor dropped five commissioners while nominating eight new people as commissioners to “strengthen his administration’s service delivery”.
The affected commissioners included Dr. Jamila Dahiru (Education), Barr. Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu (Internal Security and Home Affairs), Comrade Usman Danturaki (Information and Communication), Professor Simon Madugu Yalams (Agriculture), and Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza (Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation).

The three reassigned commissioners are now Hon. Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu, Special Adviser on Multilateral Coordination and Regional Integration; Comrade Usman Danturaki, Special Adviser on Labour Matters and Contributory Pension Scheme; and Professor Simon Madugu Yalams, Special Adviser on Technical and Vocational Education.
Governor Mohammed urged the appointees to “bring their wealth of experience, dedication, and expertise in their respective fields to contribute significantly towards the attainment of his vision for Bauchi State”.

A new cabinet reshuffle by the Bauchi State governor has seen the five Commissioners get relieved of their duties.
Speaking to newsmen today, Tuesday, January 7, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado confirmed this.
