Bauchi: Security Operatives Rescue 69 Abductees

Bauchi: Security Operatives Rescue 69 Abductees | Daily Report Nigeria

Bauchi State government has disclosed that security operatives have rescued 69 abducted victims in the State.

DAILY REPORT NG gathered that the victims were freed on Saturday by security agencies and the vigilante.

Alhaji Abdulrazaq Nuhu Zaki, Bauchi State commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who confirmed the report said the security operatives stormed the forest where the bandits kept the victims.

In a statement on Friday, Zaki made it known that Governor of the state, Bala Mohammed boosted the morale of the council chairman, vigilantes, traditional rulers, security personnel and all stakeholders towards eradicating banditry in their area.

The commissioner further said the Governor led the battle himself, having visited the affected areas, commiserated with the people and encouraged them to resist the terrorists.

Zaki added that the dislodgement of the bandits would bring big relief to people of the affected community.
