Major Political leaders and constituents of Bayelsa West Senatorial District, comprise of Sagbama and Ekeremor, have been advised to adhere to the zoning policy to give the people of Ekeremor a sense of belonging.
The chairman of Bayelsa West Unity Forum (BWUF), Comrade Romeo Richman announced in a press briefing that the forum stands for peace, unity, justice, and fairness for politicians of all climes in the Senatorial District.
Comrade Richman expressed fears over the ban of political rallies which led to the suspension of BWUF’s proposed enlightenment campaign on the 22nd of January to sensitize the good people of Sagbama and Ekeremor Senatorial district.

Speaking on, the chairman of the Organization also called on all members and supporters of the forum to remain resolute.
Again, Comr Romeo Richman in his statement commends the State Commissioner of Police CP Ben Okolo, for his integrity and unbiased nature in handling the allegations against the forum.
He also informed the people of Sagbama and Ekeremor that the leaders who benefited from the zoning system are the ones kicking against the conjunction of Bayelsa West Senatorial District.
During his statement in the press briefing, Comrade Romeo noted that going by the zoning formula, the people of Ekeremor are to produce the next Senator while Sagbama assumes the House of Representatives.
In addition, he said the entire members of the organization have pleaded with political leaders, traditional rulers, women, and youths groups to abide by the zoning policy for peaceful coexistence
