Bayer Leverkusen is set to face Atalanta in this year’s Europa League final.
The Bundesliga champions made a dramatic comeback in their semi-final second leg against Roma, recovering from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 on Thursday night.
Leverkusen had already secured a 2-0 victory in the first leg in Rome.

However, Roma leveled the tie on aggregate thanks to two penalties converted by Leandro Paredes.
An own goal by Gianluca Mancini brought Leverkusen back into the game, and a late equalizer from Josip Stanisic sealed the draw.
Meanwhile, Atalanta dominated the other semi-final, defeating Marseille 3-0 and advancing to the final with a 4-1 aggregate win.
