Bayern Munich are reportedly confident they can land Juventus star, Matthijs de Ligt.

The Blues are believed to be very keen on the Dutch center-half and have been in negotiation with the player’s agent in recent days.

It has also been reported earlier that De Ligt is open to a move to Stamford Bridge and is keen on playing in the Premier League.

However, Journalist Kerry Hau, has now reported that personal terms between Bayern and De Ligt have been agreed, with the Dutchman very much in the mood to join the Bavarian side this summer.

Julian Nagelsmann and the Bayern chiefs have managed to convince the ex-Ajax defender about the move, even though the player has been a Bayern fan ever since he was a child.

Football analyst, Nizaar Kinsella. has also reported that Bayern intends not to go into a bidding war with Chelsea.

“Bayern are confident they can hijack Chelsea’s bid for Matthijs de Ligt. Bayern do not want to be drawn into a bidding war with their wealthier Premier League rivals and have instead worked on convincing the player to reject a move to Chelsea” he tweeted.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have been linked with numerous defenders with at least two likely to join the club this summer.
