BBNaija 2024: Season 9 Kicks Off with a Twist: Housemates Enter in Pairs

The BBNaija 2024 ninth season of Big Brother Naija kicked off on Sunday night with an exciting twist: contestants entered the house in pairs.

The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, introduced 14 pairs, making a total of 28 housemates. Here’s a quick rundown of the BBNaija 2024 contestants:

1. ZinWe
   The first pair, Chinwe and Zion, are in a five-month relationship and are collectively called ZinWe.
2. The Radicals
   Friends Femi and Michky make up The Radicals. They claimed to be “virgins” and said their strategy is simply “vibes and more vibes.”
3. Floruish
   Rhuthee and DJ Flo, best friends for 10 years, are collectively called Floruish.
4. NdiNne
   Niece and aunt duo, Chinne and Nne, are collectively called NdiNne. They declared they’re bringing “realness and authenticity” to the show.
5. Aces
   Colleagues Sooj and Topher are known as Aces. Their strategy is “unpredictability.”
6. Shatoria
   Friends Shaun and Victoria, who met in Dubai in 2022, are called Shatoria.
7. Wanni X Handi
   Identical twins from Kaduna, Wanni and Handi, are also DJs and are single and ready to mingle. They go by Wanni X Handi.
8. BETA
   Tjay and Ben, who met on Instagram, are called Beta. Tjay is married with a daughter, and Ben is a professional partier.
9. Mbadiwe Twins
   Another pair of identical twins, Ocee and Ozee, call themselves the Mbadiwe Twins.
10. TAMI
    Female friends Damilola and Toyosi, who met during their industrial training, call themselves TAMI. They are open to relationships in the house.
11. Nelita
    Friends for nine years, Anita and Nelly, who met in 2015, are known as Nelita. Nelly is a model, and Anita is a pole dancer. They are not interested in relationships in the house.
12. Streeze
    Friends Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge, who met at the University of Lagos, are called Streeze. Their only distraction in the house will be “beautiful ladies.”
13. Double Kay
    Kassia and Kellyrae, who dated for 10 years and got married in February this year, call themselves Double Kay. Their strategy is to pretend they’re just best friends.
14. Chekas
    Friends Onyeka and Chizoba, who call themselves Chekas, plan to steal other housemates’ strategies.
