BBNaija Vee Opens Up About the Complexities of Dating in Lagos

BBNaija Vee

Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, a former Big Brother Naija reality star and actress, shared her views on the complexities of dating in Lagos, highlighting the challenges posed by modern communication dynamics.

According to Vee, the evolution of human communication has made dating in Lagos more intricate than before, impacting the nature of relationships today. She expressed skepticism about navigating the dating scene in the city, citing her own emotional nature as a contributing factor.

It’s worth mentioning that Vee and her fellow reality star, Neo Akpofure, were romantically involved after developing feelings for each other on the reality show in 2020. However, their relationship ended shortly after the show’s conclusion, with Vee attributing part of the breakup to Neo’s cousin, Venita Akpofure.

Speaking recently on Clout Africa, Vee said: “The dating scene in Lagos is a bit harder than usual. As late millennials, early Genzs we are going for it right now, human communication is not what it used to be.

“I avoid situations before I get heartbroken. I’m a soft, romantic, lover girl so a bit of a balance between the brain and the mind, that is the constant battle for me.”
