Media entrepreneur and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Anto Lecky, has taken on a new role in public service as the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Creative Economy to the Governor of Edo State.
She announced the appointment on her Instagram account on Monday, July 22, and expressed appreciation to the state’s governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for the opportunity to contribute to the state’s development.
“I thank His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State… for the opportunity to serve him, my state and my country again in another capacity,” she shared.

Anto, known for her involvement in youth development and policy advocacy, highlighted her excitement about the evolving tourism landscape in Edo State. She pointed to significant cultural advancements, such as the anticipated launch of new museums and the repatriation of historic Benin artifacts.
“With the return of many stolen Benin Bronze, soon-to-be opened museums, and an ever-growing entertainment industry, there is no better time for Edo State to be on the forefront of tourism and the creative economy in Nigeria and the world,” she stated.
She also called for partnerships from across the globe to help drive progress in the state’s tourism and creative sectors.
“Edo State’s borders and its economy are open to all, travelers and investors, domestic and international. I look forward to working with all stakeholders,” she added.
Alongside her message, Anto posted an official portrait in traditional attire, explaining the cultural significance behind her outfit.
“As a proud Edo babe… I am wearing the Gbogane fabric of my Etsako tribe… and red coral beads which signify royalty, power, dominance, and protection,” she explained.
