Be Wary Of Fake Recruitment Announcement, NNPC Warns

  • NNPC has warned the public against a fake recruitment link circulating online for jobs at the revamped Port Harcourt refinery.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has warned the public against a fake recruitment link circulating online for jobs at the revamped Port Harcourt refinery.

According to Olufemi Soneye, the company’s chief corporate communications officer, “The purported recruitment link being circulated in various online platforms is the handiwork of fraudsters who are keen on taking advantage of the newly revamped Port Harcourt Refinery to fleece unsuspecting members of the public with a phantom recruitment announcement.”

Soneye clarified that candidates who passed the computer-based aptitude test during the recruitment process have proceeded to the interview stage this week.

He emphasized that no separate recruitment process exists besides the one that began last year.

“We, therefore, call on members of the public to be wary of the ploy and not fall for it,” Soneye warned.

Dangote Refinery To Import Crude Oil As NNPCL Supply Falls Short

Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to import crude oil feedstock due to insufficient supply from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPCL).

The refinery has ramped up production to 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) and targets 650,000 bpd by June 2025.
