Adejobi redeployed to Delta as Deputy Commissioner of Police.
The Nigeria Police Force has announced the redeployment of Deputy Commissioner of Police Olumuyiwa Adejobi from the Force Headquarters in Abuja to the Delta State Command, where he will serve as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations.
In his place, Chief Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin, who has served as the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer since March 2022, has been appointed the new Force Public Relations Officer.
Mr Adejobi had been at the helm of the police communication desk since February 2022, when he succeeded Commissioner of Police Frank Mba in an acting capacity before his confirmation by the then Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba. His redeployment comes shortly after his elevation to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Mr Hundeyin’s appointment reflects a continuation of his work in public relations for the police, following over three years of service as Lagos Command Spokesman. He is now expected to take charge of national police communications at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Police sources confirmed that the changes form part of a restructuring exercise designed to strengthen operations and communication strategy across critical commands and the Force Headquarters.
