Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church has rained curses on people he termed “blasphemers of the church of Christ in this nation.”

He laid these curses as he closed the Covenant Hour of Prayer meeting on Tuesday backing it from the Bible.

He said:
“2 Thessalonians 1:6, which says;
‘Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you.”

According to him, God would bring trouble to anybody who tries to bring trouble to his church just as He did to Egypt when they brought trouble to the children of Israel.

Again, He quoted the Bible before he began to curse.

“1 Timothy 1:20;
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.”

“Every blasphemer of the church of Christ in this nation is delivered to Satan.” he cursed and the congregation agreed in loud shouts of amen.

They shall smell. They shall stink. Their memory shall be wiped off.”

The Bishop continued and declare that on Sunday, it will be clear that the God of vengeance has arisen, not just for his church, but for his people.

“Every uprising against your stand for Christ comes under judgement,” He said in the end.

The preacher explained that Jesus taught his followers to pray vengeance prayers.

He, again said:
” Luke 18:1-8, which says;
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.”

Afterwards he urged his congregation to keep praying vengeance prayers against the forces of wickedness, because vengeance is necessary for the wicked not to continue in their wickedness.

“We’re in a battle against the forces of darkness, and we know what we carry,” He said.
