An unknown group of gunmen reportedly attacked the Porsche Nightclub in Oba, Anambra State, killing many on Sunday night.
Reports suggested that the assailants’ primary objective was to abduct the club owner.
However, the club’s security personnel,
there to protect the establishment, courageously resisted the assailants’ efforts to seize the owner.

A confrontation ensured and the gunmen unleashed a hail of bullets indiscriminately firing within the premises leading to the loss of many lives.

Amidst the chaos, one of the club’s security personnel, who had valiantly attempted to thwart the abduction, met a brutal end.
Chukwuemeka Ezefunamba, a source closely acquainted with the incident, recounted the tragic event.
Ezefunamba said:
“As a result of the resistance, the gunmen started shooting sporadically, killing many people in the process.
“They also beheaded one of the security men who resisted them from taking the owner of the nightclub.”
