BNXN, the Nigerian singer formerly known as Buju, revealed that he once perceived Grammy winner Wizkid as an otherworldly being.
Discussing his friendship with the star singer and his initial impressions before they met, BNXN shared on Morning Runs with Naija 102.7 FM that although he couldn’t quite pinpoint Wizkid’s achievements, the singer consistently responds to his messages.
Buju also mentioned that he’s unsure about the extent of Wizkid’s friendships, but Wizkid goes out of his way to apologize if he takes too long to reply.

Before their encounter, Buju admitted to viewing the “Essence” hitmaker as more than just a regular human being; he thought of Wizkid as a spiritual entity.
