Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has been released from prison.
On April 5, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) secured his conviction for mutilating naira notes, with Bob pleading guilty to four counts of naira abuse before Justice A.O. Awogboro at the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Bob was released on Monday, August 5, 2024. A video surfaced of him celebrating with friends, dancing to Mohbad and Chike’s song “Egwu.” His friends were heard cheering, “We are out of prison. Congratulations, Bobrisky.”
