A group of people have died, others injured as a truck collides with cars along Abuja-Keffi highway.
The horrible incident which happened on Tuesday evening, June 18, 2024 saw a heavy-duty truck carrying bags of fertilizers suffer a brake system failure, while descending Kugbo HillRoad.

The driver, who was unable to stop the speeding vehicle used a couple of cars as a shield, smashing vehicles it came in contact with, and subsequently crushing a Honda Accord car into a metal pillar where it eventually came to a halt.
This left the bodies of the four occupants dismembered, while survivors from the other affected cars were also left with various degrees of injury.

Reacting to the incident, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other sympathizers were left shocked after seeing the dismembered body parts on the ground, and quickly rushed the surviving victims to a nearby hospital.
The FRSC men continuously made efforts to cut open the mangled car to enable them to pick up the remains of the victims.
