Bomadi Gets JAMB CBT Centre as Pondi Gifts 300 Forms to Constituents

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has approved the setup of a Computer-Based Test Centre in Bomadi, Delta State.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the outlet is approved under the Sologha Ekpemupolo CBT, originally stationed in Ogulagha.

The new centre, which only the second JAMB Centre along the coast of Nigeria is aimed at easing the suffering of several Delta and Bayelsa riverine dwellers who before now were made to travel long distances to enjoy the services of the board.

According to the Administrator of the parent Sologha Ekpemupolo CBT Centre, Ogulagha, Mr. Reyners Itigbri, the centre came to live through the efforts of Julius Pondi, House member representing Burutu Federal Constituency.

“This is a deliberate effort the member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Hon Julius Pondi and members of our team to ensure that our people in Burutu South don’t have to travel to Ughelli nor Yenagoa to register for JAMB or enjoy other pre or post examination services of JAMB,” Itigbiri explained.

He further extended appreciation to Pondi and member the Delta State Cordinator of JAMB for approving the Centre Outlet.

“My sincere gratitude is to my principal, Hon. Pondi and the state Cordinator for seeing the need to assist us to ensure the outlet is approved to ease the sufferings of our people in that axis,” he added.

Members of the public are by this message encouraged to take advantage of the outlet for the 2024 JAMB registration at No 1 Kosin Lane, Bomadi Town, Bomadi LGA, Delta State or contact Mr. Emmanuel on 08064392035.

Meanwhile, the lawmaker through his Julius Pondi Foundation has gifted 300 JAMB forms for eligible student in his constituency.

The gesture, which is an annual practice of the lawmaker is open to only indigenes of Burutu Local Government.

According to the announcement by Secretary of the Julius Pondi Foundation, Emmanuel Gesikeme Akpule, application starts on Monday, January 15, 2024, and closes on Tuesday January 30, 2024.

Successful shortlisted persons are expected to take their exams at the SOLOGHA EKPEMUPOLO JAMB Centre, Ogulagha Town.
