The Borno State Government announced the death of its Commissioner for Finance, Ahmad Ali Ahmad, on Monday.

According to a statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, Ahmad died on Monday morning.
The statement confirmed that Ahmad’s burial is scheduled for 5 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri. The cause of death was not disclosed.
