Borno State Governor Orders Reopening Of 3 Schools In Bama

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has ordered the reopening of three secondary schools in Bama Local Government Area of Borno state.

While disclosing this through a press statement released by the state government, the governor also ordered the distribution of food and other items to the area during his visitation. This was done in bid to help those in critical need.

On the reopening of the three schools, the governor stated that it was to enable pupils continue their education.

The Governor promised to come back to the area to monitor and check the progress of the enrollment of pupils.

The schools which are to be reopened are thus; Government Day Secondary School, Mega School which will be converted to a secondary school, and a Girl’s secondary school which will be cited at the Shettimari Primary School temporarily.

Borno currently has 356 active cases of coronavirus, 188 recoveries and a death toll of 26.
