BREAKING: Former Senator Rafiu Ibrahim Passes Away at 57 | Daily Report Nigeria

A former Kwara State Senator, Rafiu Ibrahim has passed away at age 57.

Ibrahim’s death was confirmed in a statement released by his family on Wednesday.

The family kindly requested prayers and support from the public saying that burial arrangements will be communicated later.

Their statement read:
“We kindly request your prayers and support during this difficult time. His burial arrangements will be communicated in due course.

“We pray Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus. Ameen.”

Ibrahim, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), served as the representative for Kwara South Senatorial District in the eighth National Assembly under the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki.

He also chaired the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions.
