Two dead bodies have been recovered from the rubbles of a 7-storey building that collapsed in Lekki, Lagos State, on Sunday.
The bodies were recovered by Emergency responders according to the Zonal Coordinator South West, National Emergency Management Agency, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye.
Daily Report had earlier reported that the building was still under construction when it collapsed at Oba Idowu Oniru Street, Lekki.

Farinloye said work was still ongoing to rescue the remaining trapped persons under the rubbles.
Emergency responders at the scene included the Nigerian Police Force, NEMA, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, State Fire Service and the Lagos State Building Control Agency.
