BREAKING: 4-Year-Old Pupil Dies During Lunch in Abuja

A 4-year-old pupil, Miguel Ovoke has reportedly died at BrickHall Schools in the Cadastral Zone B11, Kaura, Abuja during the school’s feeding hours.

Ovoke was pronounced dead on Wednesday upon arrival at Excel Specialist Hospital due to complications arising from lunchtime.

According to the death certificate issued on April 24, 2024, the Pupil had aspirated on meat while eating at school.

It was said that medical professionals at Excel Specialist Hospital observed severe symptoms in him.

The symptoms included fixed and dilated pupils, unresponsiveness to light, absence of peripheral pulses, unrecordable blood pressure, and no signs of cardiopulmonary activity.

Reports added that one Dr Akinwande Ajayi declared him “Brought in Dead” following exhaustive resuscitation efforts by the medical team.
