Nine governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress are currently in a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
The governors include Aminu Masari (Katsina), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi), Abubakar Bello (Niger); Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Hope Uzodinma (Imo), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Simon Lalong (Plateau) and Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna).

They were led to the meeting by Abubakar Bagudu, who is the Chairman Progressives Governor’s Forum.
The meeting is not far from their displeasure over the emergence of Senator Kashim Shettima as running mate to the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu ahead the 2023 election.
