The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja has again adjourned the pre-hearing session for the petition filed by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, against President-Elect Bola Tinubu.
The session would continue on Friday, May 19. The LP National Chairman, Julius Abure, and the party’s factional chairman, Lamidi Apapa, were both present in court on Wednesday.
The acting National Chairman of the party, Lamidi Apapa, and the National Women’s Leader of the party, Dudu Manugu, attempted to make an appearance for LP but were denied by Justice Haruna Tsamani.

Tsamani maintained that if two persons were making an appearance for the party, they would not be put on record.
