Abiola Ajimobi, the newly appointed Acting National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress has instituted the Edo State Election and Appeal Panels to oversee the June 22 primary elections for the party.

The primary elections will determine the emergence party’s flag bearer in the Edo gubernatorial elections slated for September.

Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who was represented by the National Vice Chairman of the APC, South South, Hon Hillard Etagbo Eta instructed the instituted committees to ensure a credible flag bearer in the forthcoming elections emerges.

Governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodinma is to head the seven-man Election Panel while Ajibola Bashiru will serve as Secretary.

The five-man Election Appeal Panel has Dr. Yusuf Nawai and Dr. Kayode Ajulo as Secretary.
