Senator Godswill Akpabio has withdrawn his interest to contest the presidential race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former lawmaker and governor of Akwa Ibom state announced his withdrawal from the race on Tuesday night, during the presidential primary election of the ruling party.

The former minister of Niger Delta Affairs however, declared his support for frontline aspirant, Bola Tinubu, describing the APC national leader as a man with vision.
