Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan who is a world record holder, has been nominated among the top 10 nominees for the Women’s World Athlete of the Year by the World Athletics.
The world athletics body explained that the nominees were chosen by an international council of athletics experts from all six continental areas of World Athletics.
It added that the voting process would be a three-way to determine the five finalists on October 31.

Amusan is the world 100m hurdles champion, Diamond League, Commonwealth, and African 100m hurdles champion as well as a world record holder in 100m hurdles at 12.12secs.
