Nnamdi Okafor, the Majority Leader in the Anambra State House of Assembly is dead.
Okafor, popularly called Akajiugo Awka, represented the Awka South Constituency 1 in the state Assembly before he died.
Details of his death were still sketchy as at the time of filling this report.

Meanwhile, an unconfirmed reports said the lawmaker slumped and died in the early hours of Wednesday in a Hotel in Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The deceased and other state lawmakers were said to have gone for a legislative retreat.
