Breaking: Angele Swears in 20 Ward Councillors For Burutu | Daily Report Nigeria

Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Delta state, Rt Hon Godknows Angele on Monday swore-in Councillors of the 20 state wards across Burutu.

The inauguration ceremony is an aftermath of the March 6 local government elections conducted by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC.

The legislators were sworn in by the Clerk of the House, Mr Thomas Weleke.

Hon Angele charged the Councillors to be good representatives of their constituents by making themselves available at all times to discharge their duties.

Angele who was recently returned for second term reiterated his commitment to the progress and development of Burutu in his new administration.

Fondly called Mr Ability, Angele stated his priorities for second term as security, health and environment as well as human capital development.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated councillors, Hon Pudigha Biakpara who is returning for second term for Ward 6, thanked the Chairman for his encouragement while pledging an unalloyed support on behalf of the legislators.
