Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress are currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
The governors in attendance include Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum and governor of Kebbi state, Atiku Bagudu, Chairman of Northern governors Forum and governor of Plateau State, Simeon Lalong, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Aminu Masari of Katsina, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Abubakar Bello of Niger, Yahaya Inuwa of Gombe, Babagana Zulum of Borno, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, amongst others..

Also on Sunday night, the President hosted members of the National Advisory Council to a dinner where he affirmed that the party is on its way to clinching its third victory since 2015.
Recall that the Northern governors had asked the leadership of the APC to zone its presidential ticket to the South. And although multiple reports said the president consented to their demand, the presidency on Sunday said Buhari never endorsed power shift to South.
