Aishatu Dahiru Binani has been declared winner of the Adamawa governorship election.
Binani was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday morning.
Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa made the declaration following the supplementary election held Saturday.

Binani defeated incumbent governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ahamadu Fintiri to emerge winner of the poll.
