BREAKING: ASUU Extends Strike

BREAKING: ASUU Extends Strike | Daily Report Nigeria

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended its strike by eight weeks.

The decision was taken by ASUU executives following a meeting, which held on Sunday, at the University of Abuja, UNIABUJA.

This announcement follows the one month warning strike which expired today Monday, 14, March 2022.

An ASUU official, Professor Abdulkadir Muhammad Danbazau, with ASUU, said the decision is to enable the union and the federal government reach an agreement so as to avoid strikee any firm of strike in the future.

According to him, two months is enough for the federal government to do the right thing.
