BREAKING: Atiku Wins PDP Presidential Primary Election [FULL RESULT]

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The 2019 presidential candidate of the PDP clinched the ticket after scoring 371 votes at the primary election on Saturday, which held at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike came second in the polls after scoring 237 votes.

Atiku has thus become the flag bearer of the party to battle other presidential candidates for a chance to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Below are the results from the PDP presidential primary election.

Atiku Abubakar – 371

Nyesom Wike – 237 votes

Bukola Saraki – 70 votes

Anyim Pius – 14 votes

Bala Mohammed – 20 votes

Emmanuel Udom – 38 votes

Sam Ohuabunwa – 1 vote

Oliver Teriela Diana – 1 vote

Void Votes – 12
