Suspected bandits have reported kidnapped reportedly the Permanent Secretary, Niger state Ministry of Transportation, Dr. Ibrahim Garba Musa alongside his granddaughter.
Mr Musa was kidnapped in his house in Zungeru while relaxing after a wedding ceremony.
According to family members, the suspected bandits gained entry into the compound by breaking down the gate.
The Secretary to the Niger state government, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane said he has been notified of the kidnap but was yet to confirm it.
Niger state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Wasiu was yet to confirm the incident as of press time.
