Suspected bandits have attacked the Government Science College Kagara in Niger State, abducting unspecified number of students and staff in the process.
The Government Science College Kagara is a boarding school housing students and teachers.
Sources say the bandits invaded the the school in the early hours of Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

The bandits reportedly gathered some staff and students at a place for hours before taking them out of the school premises to an unknown destination.
While a staff of the college reportedly escaped from the kidnappers unhurt, an unlucky student was killed by the gunmen during the attack.
The police was yet to react to the incident as at press time.
