Unknown bandits have kidnapped Ibrahim Sarkin Fada the District Head of Kasuwar Daji in the Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Fada was kidnapped in his residence in the early hours of Thursday, according to an indigene of the area, Malam Audu Mohammed who spoke with newsmen.
He said that the bandits who were in large numbers stormed Kasuwar Daji village and went straight to the village head’s house and abducted him.

When residents of the village moved to rescue their village head, Mohammed said the bandits fired many gunshots to scare them away.
He said:
“I was in my house when I heard gunshots around 2:30 to 3:00 am last Thursday.
“I was called later around 4 am by a friend who told me that our district head was abducted.”
