Buhari seeks approval for new $800m loan request

President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to the Senate to approve a new $800million loan request.

President Buhari, in a letter read during plenary on Wednesday by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, said the loan would used in scaling up the National Social Safety Net Programme. 

Fuel Subsidy: CISLAC Queries FG Over $800m World Bank Loan

The President further added that the loan would be sourced from the World Bank.
