President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Muazu Sambo as a minister-designate
Sambo to replace former Minister of Power, Sale Mamman.
Daily Report Nigeria can recall that Mamman was sacked in September, alongside Sabo Nanono, the former agriculture minister.
Buhari’s letter seeking the confirmation of the nominee was read by the
President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, read the letter of the President seeking to confirm Sambo as minister during the commencement of plenary on Tuesday.
Muazu Sambo, the new minister-designate hails from Taraba State.
