The President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered for the confirmation of acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as substantive CJN.
The order was contained in a letter addressed to the Senate on Tuesday..
The letter was read by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, during plenary.

According to the letter, Buhari said the move is line with Section One (1) of the Constitution of Nigeria.
DAILY REPORT recalls that Justice Olukayode Ariwoola was appointed acting Chief Justice of Nigeria following the resignation of ex-CJN, Justice Tanko Mohammed on June 27, 2022.
