BREAKING: Buhari Postpones Assent To Electoral Bill | Daily Report Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly postponed the signing of the re-worked Electoral Act Amendment Bill till Friday, February 25, 2022.

According Channels Television, a source close to the Presidency made the new date known in an interview on Wednesday.

The said source, who had earlier stated that the President would sign the bill on Wednesday, confirmed the revised document would be signed on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has revealed the reason President Buhari has refused to sign the revised electoral bill into law.
