President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of Col. Milland Dixon Dikio as Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme by a one-year tenure.

Daily Report Nigeria can recall that Dikio was first appointed as Sole Administrator after Charles Quarker Dokubo was sacked as the coordinator of the Amnesty Programme.

Dikio has in the face of grave challenges been able to command relative respect amongst critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region.

He has so far caused mixed reactions with many calling for his appointment as substantive coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Program.

Dikio was recently accused of lavishing over N1 billion on trips and cronies by Churchill Amieye, a youth leader of the All Progressive Congress.
