BREAKING: CAF Postpones Nigeria v Ghana’s Clash

The Confederation of African Football, CAF has deferred the FIFA World Cup African qualifying match between Nigeria and Ghana.

The biggest of the six continental confederations of FIFA in Monday, told the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will now take on the Black Stars on new dates.

NFF’s Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire made the revelation of the postponement of the match.

Meanwhile, the first and second legs of the play-off were previously fixed for 24th and 27th of March respectively.

However, following the latest development, both legs of the match will now come up on the 25th and 29th of March.

Venue for the opening leg is the Cape Coast Stadium and the match will kick off at 8:30pm.

The other leg has therefore, been arranged to hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja at 6pm.

Olajide said: “The opening leg of the fixture at the Cape Coast Stadium will now take place on March 25, starting from 7:30 p.m Ghana time, which will be 8:30 p.m in Nigeria.”

“The return leg match will now hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, starting from 6 p.m Nigeria time.”
