The Central Bank of Nigeria has planned to redesign three naira notes before the year ends.
They include; N200, N500, and N1000 notes.
Godwin Emefiele, the apex bank’s governor announced the bank had obtained approval from President Mohammadu Buhari to redesign the above notes.

He also revealed that the new notes will come into effect by December 15.
