The Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru has died in an air crash Friday while on an official trip to Kaduna.

Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the Army Chief died with his aides in a plane crash.

Channels Television reports that the said plane was a training aircraft.
The Ill-fated aircraft was said to have crashed at the airport’s runway.

The incident was said to have occurred at about 6 pm while it was raining heavily.

The plane was said to have crash-landed on the runway, with the eight people on board feared dead.
