BREAKING: Court Dismisses EFCC’s Case Against Okorocha

A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a case by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha.

Justice Yusuf Halilu ruled that EFCC’s allegations of fraud and abuse of office against Okorocha were an abuse of the judicial process.

Halilu held he had presided over similar charges brought by the EFCC against the former governor of Imo State at the Federal High Court, which he ruled in favor of the former governor in December 2022.
