Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos State has granted bail to businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest.
The bail amount is set at N10 million, with two sureties of equal value.
Cubana Chief Priest faced charges related to tampering with and abusing the Nigerian currency during his trial. He, however, pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
The incident reportedly occurred on February 13, 2024, at Eko Hotel, where he allegedly interfered with funds consisting of N500 notes provided by the Central Bank of Nigeria by spraying them during a social event.

According to the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), his action went against the Central Bank Act of 2007.
