BREAKING: Court Grants Ex-Aviation Minister Bail | Daily Report Nigeria

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika his daughter, and two other co-defendants in the sum of N100 million each with two sureties.

Sirika and other defendants faced a trial for allegedly misappropriating N2.7 billion public funds.

The court stipulated that the sureties must possess landed properties in Abuja, be reputable citizens, and provide an affidavit of means.

Also, the court prohibited the defendants from travelling outside the country without its explicit permission.

Justice Oriji of the Abuja High Court warned that failure to meet the bail conditions would result in the defendants being remanded in custody.
