A Federal High Court (FHC) sitting in Abuja on Tuesday granted bail to a presidential aspirant and former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha.
Okorocha was granted bail in the sum of N500 million and a surety in like sum.
Recall that the presidential aspirant was charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following his alleged complicity in a N2.9 billion fraud.

Justice Inyang Ekwo ordered that the surety must be a responsible citizen who has landed property in the like sum of the bail granted Okorocha.
The Senator was also banned from traveling out of the country except with the express permission of the court.
Meanwhile, Okorocha is expected to remain in the custody of the EFCC until his bail conditions are met.
