BREAKING: Court Orders ASUU to Call Off Strike

BREAKING: Court Orders ASUU to Call Off Strike | Daily Report Nigeria

The National Industrial Court on Wednesday ordered the Academic Staff Union of Universities to call off its seven-month old strike action.

Th court ordered all lecturers to return to class with immediate effect.

Daily Report recalls that ASUU has been on strike since February 14, 2022 over unmet demands for improved funding for universities, salary review, among other issues.
Several meetings between ASUU and the federal government have ended in deadlock.
