Doyin Okupe, the former director-general of the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign has been released after he was “wrongly” arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to the DSS, Okupe was earlier arrested on the instruction of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Meanwhile, after his release, Okupe confirmed on Twitter that senior officials of the EFCC have apologised for the “error.”
