DSS Releases Chiwetalu Agu to Actors Guild of Nigeria | Daily Report Nigeria

The Department of State Service has released veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu to the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

This was announced by Monalisa Chinda Coker, Director of Communications Actors Guild of Nigeria.

She stated this in a statement signed by herself on behalf of the AGN.

The statement titled “CHIWETALU AGU RELEASED TO ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA” reads;

“The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas has yet again secured the release of Actor Chiwetalu Agu from the custody of the DSS.

“On behalf of the Guild, I was at the DSS office with my colleague, the Senior Special Assistant on Military Affairs and Inter-Governmental Relations to the President Steve Eboh to receive Mr. Agu today.

“The elated veteran Actor thanked God for surviving the ordeal and commended the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria headed by Ejezie Emeka Rollas for their relentless efforts in securing his release from the detention.”

DSS Releases Chiwetalu Agu to Actors Guild of Nigeria

Chiwetalu Agu was arrested by the Nigerian Army for allegedly wearing an outfit with similar colors to the Biafran flag last week.

He was handed over to the DSS by the Nigerian Army after spending a night in custody.
